Section 05

Branding & Identity

Your branding details provide the visual and emotional blueprint for your new website. These assets guarantee our design team builds a consistent digital extension of your existing brand — pixel perfect, on every screen.

What Branding Covers

This section covers four elements: your logo files, brand color codes, typography, and tagline. If you don't have all of these yet, read the No Brand Yet? section below for guidance.

Brand Colors

2. Brand Colors

Provide specific color codes (Hex codes) to ensure your precise corporate palette is programmed into your website's buttons, headers, and backgrounds consistently across every page.

Color Code Format
Primary Color: #FFD700 (Gold — URHIDU brand example)
Secondary Color: #111111 (Near black)
Accent Color: #F8F9FA (Off white / Surface)
Background Color: #FFFFFF (Pure white)
Text Color: #1A1A1A (Dark soft)

How Colors Map to Your Website

Color Role Where It Appears on Your Website
Primary Main call-to-action buttons, links, active navigation highlights, key section accents
Secondary Header background, footer, dark section backgrounds, secondary buttons
Accent Card backgrounds, hover states, subtle section separators, input field fills
Background Main page background, content containers, modal overlays
Text All body copy, headings, labels, captions across the entire site
Hex Codes Only, Please

Do not submit color names like "navy blue" or "dark green." These are subjective and vary across monitors. Always provide the exact 6-character Hex code (e.g., #003366) so we can program your precise shade with zero ambiguity.

Typography

3. Typography (Fonts)

List your official typography names so we can license and embed matching web fonts. Typography is one of the most powerful tools for expressing your brand's personality and professionalism.

Heading / Display Font

If Available

The bold, eye-catching typeface used for page titles, hero headings, and section labels. This font defines your brand's visual personality at first glance.

Example: Poppins Bold, Playfair Display, Montserrat ExtraBold

Body / Paragraph Font

If Available

The readable typeface used for all body text, descriptions, menus, and form fields. This font must be highly legible across all screen sizes.

Example: Lato Regular, Open Sans, Source Sans Pro

Don't Know Your Font Names?

If you see a font you love on a website, tools like WhatFont (a free browser plugin) can identify the exact font name. Alternatively, share a screenshot of your print materials or existing brand assets and our team will identify the typeface for you.

Tagline

4. Tagline / Brand Slogan

Supply your core business slogan so we can position it prominently inside your website's main banner area. A great tagline tells visitors exactly who you are and what you stand for in one powerful line.

Industry Example Tagline
Technology / Software"Engineering the Future, One Line at a Time."
Hospitality / Hotel"Where Every Stay Feels Like Home."
Legal / Consulting"Precision. Integrity. Results."
Healthcare"Your Health. Our Priority."
Education"Empowering Minds. Shaping Leaders."
Restaurant / Food"Flavors That Tell Our Story."

Frequently Asked Questions

That is perfectly fine. Our creative team can include a custom logo design and color palette curation phase as part of your overall website development package. Simply note in your questionnaire that you require brand identity creation services and we will scope this into your project proposal.

Yes. If you do not have a formal brand guide document, providing links to your active social media profiles gives our designers an excellent reference point for your current visual style, color tendencies, and communication tone. Instagram profiles with consistent visual themes are especially useful.

If you have a logo file, our team can extract the exact hex color codes from it using color-sampling tools. If you only know the color visually (e.g., "a warm golden yellow"), you can browse a color palette tool like coolors.co or color.adobe.com, find the closest match, and share the hex code. You can also simply describe the color and our designers will propose 2–3 options for your approval.
